I took out a large term ins policy so our farm could be paid off for the kids. It's good till I'm 79. I used to lose sleep that I would live past 79 n lose everything. Now that I have stage 4 dlbc I don't think I'll have to worry about it. But then again.....

I don't know about the property you are on, but my property taxes have gone up a minimum of 10%, every year for as long as I've owned my little parcel, due to property appraisals I have a whopping 3/4 of an acre
And that is probably exaggerated.

Hi Jackie,

I hope you're hanging in there with the lymphoma treatment. Just some encouragement here: My "DH" also had stage IV DLBCL and pretty much failed all the chemo. He had an autologous stem cell transplant almost exactly a year ago. No signs of any cancer and he's completely recovered from the transplant. It wasn't easy, butt hey, why should cures be easy

Bev, thanks for the encouragement. So far so good. Dan n I are both Ned . The only difference between him and me is i want to enjoy what ever life I have left and he wants to wallow around and think negative thoughts all day. It's bringing me down but what the hell. We been married 44 years and I'll get through this too. It's just another kick in the ass from cancer. Sorry don't mean to be narly.

Funny. I took out a 20 yr term policy not long before being diagnosed. If I make it 12 more years someone loses 300K.

I have 3 policies that don't require health disclosures. These three change when I turn 65 next month. The payout is cut in half !

I have already told people long ago b4 this shit I want to cremated and no wake. And if it were up to me no burial plot, but I guess that part is up to my family.
