Best Night---- Forgot I had CC

Postby Wade0025 » Sat Oct 25, 2014 9:16 pm

Hey guys and girls,
Getting some good vibes out here this morning.
For some people that might not know I lost my dad to CC in may this year and I was DX in august.
I felt normal last night and completely forgot about the journey that I'm going through at the moment. The 25th of OCT 14 a night that I'll never forget. I saw The Rolling Stones last night with Jim Barnes as support in Adelaide, Australia. They were amazing but more importantly I felt Amazing because of it and I tell you music is a great healer. I was up dancing and singing to the Stones for 2 hours.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and had a great week.

Cheers Wade

I really like times like that when one can forget medical issues. We caught some music last night and it is a great diversion. (A queen tribute band and then to Howl at the Moon, a chain in the US with dueling pianos, sort of sing along, dance along place. This was near the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD USA)

Wade, I'm a bit jealous. I would love to see the Rolling Stones. Is Keith Richards still performing?

Happy for you, that you had such a good time.

Hi Wade,

I'm new to this forum but just wanted you to know that I'm glad you had a fun time. Wow, the Stones! I'd love to see them. Been listening to their music since their first album.

Take care,
Jim

When anyone gets to hear a band some of us saw in the 60s and 70s, it's great to know we were not misinformed, as to the nature of our music. The music of that age, has often been a way to forget things for a while, and enjoy having a good time, and let all the other stuff wait, until you felt like dealing with it again 8)

You sure have had a lot going on in your life, but I have to say am impressed that someone your age can appreciate the Stones. Wow, that they are still touring! Does anybody realize these guys must be in their seventies? And vocal chords & guitar playing still going strong...or not?

Yes! So happy for you, Wade. I carry a couple of Stones' albums in my phone.
