I'm glassful for the end of this chemo cycle where I was able to wake up early (after being sucker punched in the eye by my dog's paw... twice... I adore my dogs);
do laundry without being winded by the stairs;
do a killer crossfit workout at my crossfit gym with an amazing community including my husband and best friend where I was able to run 1600m/1mile, do a bunch of kettle bell stuff, burpees, lunges... My body moved and supported me instead of failing me;
lunch with my husband and best friend;
decluttering a space that needed it;
resting here and feeling part of a community of people that are so freaking strong.

Chemo will come on Monday but for now, I get to be me.

I am grateful for every minute of every day I get to spend with my family- through the laughter & the tears
I am grateful for the friends I have met here... who help me get through the tough times & make me laugh when I need it most
I am grateful for the sun shining on my neighborhood and the flowers, fruit trees, grass, butterflies and birds I see in my yard
I am grateful I still have my mom & she is doing tremendously, although I wish she were living with me now rather than later
I am grateful for my dearest friend Sharon.... who is there through the dark & the light & is a true Angel on Earth

Thanks for the Post... good day for simple good thoughts

I am so grateful for the Colon Club and for my friends and family here. There is so much love, so much support, so much emotional energy among a group of "sick" people.

I am truly grateful for this tough old body that keeps taken a licking but keeps on ticking, for my animals that make me get up every morning for friends and this incredible CC family that makes me laugh, cry and be grateful for path and journey.

When there are a lot of things to be negative about, Tammy, Chrissy, and Dianne Vega, seem to come up with some good reasons to enjoy what you possess in your heart. I would bet they have a broad network of friends. I am always happy to see positive thoughts, and they give me pleasure when they are expressed.

I am grateful for evenings like tonight, spent sharing a meal with my best friends, the ones I know will be with me throughout this walk, with our two dogs, who are like the best of sisters, at our sides. Then I get to come home and check on my CC friends. So good.
