Great news. So glad to hear it. When you're in the game for this long, stable is awesome!

I hope you look me up one of these times you're here!

Eric

Congrats - stable is music to our ears!
I was at 53d St. Today getting my second FOLFIRINOX infusion. I would have liked to have met you - I was on the 7th floor waiting for a 2:15 treatment that was delayed over two hours. Does this place ever run on time? Last week was over an hour late. The only bright side was that after 7pm parking on the street is free and I wasn't picked up by DH until 7:30.

Great news, stable is good!!

A few nice gestures to the "good" clinicians is always a good idea.... to my special docs I will bring a decent bottle of wine once a year...it is always well received. Also I bring the male nurse that does my quarterly Lupron injection different kinds of craft beer to try I try to make all of them feel good and it makes me feel good!!l

That's pretty much the way I look at it. I have a history of stable/slow-growing tumors, so I'm hoping the current crop is the same. Seems to be, although I'm up to my eyeballs in chemo, so presumably, that's keeping the disease more or less under control. I could easily accept living with a chronic condition for the next 20 or 30 years. But, as we know, that's not likely, though we also know that every case is unique.

Thanks to everyone for their encouraging posts. I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger lately--both professionally (mostly) and personally--so I haven't contributed as much as I'd like. But that's probably a good thing, on balance. I like to stay busy.

Good news, glad to hear it. And I do think veggies are a better way to pay for cancer treatment. Maybe the next component for Obama care?

Congratulations on the good scan news, Eric. You've really been an inspiration to so many people on this board with your great attitude and the way you continue to live a 'normal' life considering all you've been through.
Obviously the best thing would be to have a scan where all those nasty lung thingies would just disappear forever, but short of that, you're quite right....STABLE is fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Damn good news and I have been waiting on the update as you had been noticeably absent recently. I guess you were just too busy in your garden.
Love the good news, and love that you are still gardening :D
