Kathryn in MN

Postby Hall0731 » Thu Jan 30, 2014 11:58 pm

I am not sure if anyone has posted here about KathrynMn. I was on colontown tonight and a message was posted that she passed away this evening. She was such an advocate and a bright shining star to me as she was to a lot of us. We are going to miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers awe with her family in this time of need.

I just checked her FB page - it is posted there as well. She was such a fighter, an amazing advocate and just an all around nice person. Rest in peace Kathryn. You will be missed by so many.

This is one we were all expecting and yet dreading.
I don't think I ever told Kathryn how much I admired her. Her treatment was filled with challenges, and she chose to be proactive and become educated, an advocate, and a trailblazer in treatment. Kathryn also seemed to fill each moment of life with as much living as possible. What an example to follow.
Rest in peace, Kathryn.

This is horrible. I've been away and had no idea she had taken such a turn for the worse. I always admired how tough she was. Such a great loss.
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?

Ohhhhhh deep breadth. I knew this news was coming but I am not ready.
Kathryn, you were so brave and strong and found so much joy in the midst of all your struggles. Today, on my way to work I was looking at the beautiful mountains and sea and thinking about how you enjoyed your time in Mexico so very much. Your family too filled you with such love and beautiful pride. I miss you Kathryn and I am sad. I pray you are at peace my dear friend. My prayers are with your beautiful family.

Aloha,
Kathleen

I am so sorry, my prayers are with her family. Kathryn was such inspiration, she was so strong and she had such desire for life, for few months more, but intelligent as she was she knew her time is closer and final, and during all this time of suffering she was there for ohers, advocating, meeting with people......
