I'm still very much the newbie so I don't post much. But I hover a lot and so it feels like I've been vicariously getting to "know" many of you through your posts. I want you to know that I celebrate you when I read your good news, but mourn with you when the news is bad. I definitely pray for all of you daily, regardless if I've hovered or not. I'm here now to most definitely to ask for your prayers. My TEM surgery is quickly approaching on the 16th, and I'm a bit nervous about the results. I can still vividly recall "the phone call" almost five months ago with the shocking news, and then just four days later the very raw emotions of my very first post here. Lately my friends and family have been telling me how well I seem to be handling "it" now. They've still no idea how "it" feels, but you do. If I am stronger, it's because of my faith, but also because you have given me so many wonderful examples of "grace under fire" to aspire to. For that, I say thank you. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers as I ask you to pray for me in the weeks to come. God Bless You All, Jane

My DH's shortness of breath and cough is getting worse. He gets winded just going to the bathroom. Has not had Zaltrap for about six weeks due to proteinurea and hypertention. No Folfiri x 3 1/2 weeks due to possible clinical trial. So worried that cancer is progressing. Will see the pulmonologist this afternoon. Thanks you so much for your prayers!!!!!

I could use some prayer. I recently had lung surgery in Germany. I am still here. Please pray that I will be able to return to have a scond surgery which would bring me back to Ned, please also pray for my safe return home to my daughter and husband who I miss so much.

I will continue to pray for those here as well as anyone afflicted with this horrid disease.

Across the miles at Christmas
We're sending thoughts your way.
To ask for special mercies
As we pause today to pray

We ask for your recovery
A safe return across the sea
Then back again to Germany
To make you cancer-free.

Über den Meilen zu Weihnachten
Wir schicken Gedanken Ihren Weg.
Um für besondere Gnade bitten
Wie wir heute innehalten, um zu beten

Wir bitten um Ihre Genesung
Und eine sichere Reise über das Meer
Dann wieder zurück nach Deutschland
Um Ihnen zu machen Krebs-frei.

Really need your prayers and thoughts--my wife went into the hospital yesterday for fluids to treat dehydration. We found out she has a blockage. This morning she passed out, vomited, and aspirated. She's now in ICU and still unconscious. Her vitals are okay, but they haven't explained why she is unconscious and unresponsive.
So please keep my dead wife Samantha in your prayers.

Love seeing the power of prayer on this board. :) Such an inspiration. God has been good to me, but like all of us here, I can always use extra prayers! Will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers during this holiday season. God bless.
