At my first infusion....

First session of Xelox. No complaints yet :D
Hoping side effects stay at bay. Not thrilled to have to take steroids for 2 days after the infusion but we will see how it goes. I'm not sleeping well to begin with, and steroids aren't going to make sleeping easier.

Edited to add: the port was great, no pain or burning.

I reduced the steroids after round one and dropped them entirely after round two. Depending on your nausea and energy levels you may be able to do so as well.

LabLover - Did you find out what dose of Xeloda you will be on now? Is it the same (4000mg)?

LabLover - Did you find out what dose of Xeloda you will be on now? Is it the same (4000mg)?

Yes, it's 4000 mg. 4 pills in am and 4 pills in pm.
