congrats smoore. I was also supposed to share this great news of my wife NED today, but we have a setback. she had a lung nodule discovered in today's results. so not unfortunately for us... but congrats to you. may you remain NED forever...

Passed the three year point in July. Just scanned and got the results today. Everything was clear, no further scans(unless I have symptoms of recurrence).

I've been too superstitious to post in this thread until now: I celebrated my 5 year anniversary of completing chemo a few weeks ago. Between that and my complete response to radiation, I'm comfortable saying it should be smooth sailing from here on out.
In other news, I'm running my first marathon in November. Because screw you cancer and screw you neuropathy--I'm running the show here.

I just passed my 4 year mark. There are actually some days that I don't think about cancer! I don't check back on the CC forum as much as I did during the first couple of years, but I do want to share good news for those who are looking for hope.
BTW, even though my scans put me at a stage II, my onc always insists that I might have been a stage III. I'll never know.
This forum was extremely helpful for me. I'll always be grateful for the hope I found here. Blessings to you,

Just got scan results back today, NED. Since I had a clean pathology report at surgery, 2 year anniversary tomorrow, I consider myself two years NED and grateful every minute.

I am feeling very defeated. Just finished my second round of chemo and I don't know if I have it in me to continue. I was thinking, whats the point... it's just going to come back.

Two years ago today I had my surgery to remove 7 inches of colon, uterus, cervic and ovaries. So far so good! Next Tuesday I have a quarterly follow up and crossing for continued perfect blood results.
10-27-11 Diagnosed CC
11-15-11 Colon resection, complete hyst.
Staged T3N1a, one out of 33 lymph nodes
12-11 Started Oxali and Xeloda, 8 rounds
6-8-12 Very last dose of Xeloda!
6-26-12 CT scan results, NED!
7-26-12 Ilieo. reversal, port out
