Need some positive vibes...very nervous. Updated....again

Went to the dr. Today and he told me to stick out my tongue and it went to the right. I have been getting headaches and pain on the right side of my head, but I had pulled a neck muscle, so I thought that is what it is. Turns out he thinks it is a bone met at the base of my skull or a brain met...getting MRI tomorrow. Will not get results til Monday!!!!! Please.....please let it just be a pulled muscle!!!

Dr did not even call. My mom called and talked to the nurse and said it is unspecific and that I have to go see a neurologist. Hoping it is still nothing.

A couple of weeks ago I had a month-long headache and tingling fingers. I convinced myself I had a brain met and had and MRI. I had the scan on Friday and had to wait until Monday. That was the longest weekend. Turned out I had a clean scan and the headache went away.

So this could all be nothing but the neck sprain. Try and keep busy as much as you can over the weekend. I had the husband and kids going non-stop so I wouldn't think about it and I took and Ambien both weekend nights.

I will say a special prayer for you this evening.

Thanks all for the prayers... I had the MRI today and it was so uncomfortable. I was in pain during it which only escalates my fear. I tried to see if I could get the results today, but I don't think that will happen. Going to be a long weekend.

Try to find things you enjoy that keep your mind occupied through the weekend. Play board games or watch movies or something that keeps your brain engaged. It will be what it will be - ruining your weekend won't change the results, but it is so hard not to think about it and worry - so distract yourself! Enjoy each day that you can - none of us are promised more than today, and letting cancer ruin any of those days is giving it more than it deserves.
