My wife, Susan Hartwell, used the moniker "Suze" in posting at the club. Sixty-eight months after her stage-four diagnosis she died last night. In January, facing progress of the disease, she chose regorafenib even though growth of a liver met was the immediate threat. Two weeks later her liver panel showed such damage that she came off regorafenib and went immediately to hospice. She died three weeks from stopping regorafenib.
Susan cherished hanging out on the forum. I thank you all, and those who predeceased Susan, for information and support.

Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.
