It's official. The pathology report says the suspicious growth on my lung was a "necrotizing granuloma." The surgeon said, "'There was no cancer."
So if you're in NYC, I'm the fool you see walking around with an ear-to-ear grin. Now I just need to heal from the surgery.
Only in the cancer world could someone be so happy to have an unnecessary surgery.
And yes, those of you who know me too well, I'm at Rocco's having a cookie to celebrate!
