This is the tumor in my nose. It was all gray, now showing some red so hopefully drying up and dying!

Terry, that looks uncomfortable. Is there a plan to get rid of it, or just wait and see if it dies? You know, with your title, you have to look. It's like when a waitperson says to be careful the plate is hot, and of course you have to touch it. Or when you see a wet paint sign.

It actually looks better than it did Sunday believe it or not. Yes my breathing on that side of the nose was completely 100% occluded, until yesterday when I could blow out of it just slightly, today I can actually suck in just a little so hopefully the chemo is working.

It's a mets. from the colorectal cancer which just astounds my docs, they've never heard of cr cancer metastasizing to the thyroid or nose. Yes thyroid. I thought it was a node by the thyroid but it's in the thyroid. They were going to cancel chemo again until have this taken out of my nose but decided to do chemo and try and shrink it. I believe since surgery for me means cancer spread that's what they were afraid of. Me too!

I'm actually doing much better with the folfox this time, maybe because it's folfox and not xelox, maybe because of the resveratrol, graviola or all the gatorade, or all combined. I don't know but so far I'm tired off and on and get a stomach ache about 4 to 6 pm, take a prilosec and compazine (had emend) and feel better, so can't complain

Had some good talks with my husband and daughters and some friends about being ready when I feel I can't do this anymore and they understand. I'm more concerned about my husband at this point. I'm glad I'm ready and glad I've come to realize that my husband is going to be so terrible lonely and sad. Not happy that he's going to feel that way, but glad to realize it and he's opening up so I can take this time to help him through.

Oh hell let's face it, I'm not going anywhere for a couple of years yet anyway! I have to get Holly and Keith #2 married (my oldest daughters DH is named Keith) and be there for her to have her first baby. So I'll be here for awhile. I also want my grandkids I have now to be old enough to remember me. Need to get my sheep and care for them, our free range chickens for organic eggs and I'd love to be able to get a few alpacas but to much money to buy.

All I know it right now the world is good and I'm hanging in here and kicking this pac man but things they eat;)

Thanks Bill Lilb for fixing my avatar for me:) I was about 36 there. Advice to those that smoke don't want until your in your 50's you get those ugly lines around the mouth which you can see in the picture of my nose tumor. Ugly! I've been quit for a while and they ain't going no where! So don't do it if possible.
