Liz, I'm glad your mum left the way she wanted to - pain free and quickly. May your memories of her sustain you throughout this holiday season. My heart goes out to you.

After 8,5 years living with CRC, Pete passed away on 17/4/2012. We had lots of quality time, we said our goodbyes! I am at peace because he doesn't suffer anymore! He is now better off with the Lord! We will surely miss him very very much!!

I'm so sorry! My prayer now is for you and your family to have peace and, maybe by Christmas, find a little joy in the things that will remind fondly remind you of your mother.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Just remember that while were singing about miracles for Christmas your mum is living with him. Still my heart aches for you, may God Bless and Keep you thru this difficult time.

Histologically low-grade adenocarcinoma
2 out of 15 lymph nodes positive

My condolences to you and your family. I am so sorry that your wish to spend one last Christmas holiday together couldn't come true, but now she is free from pain and suffering brought on by this ugly cancer. My prayers are with you.

Oh im so sorry to hear that new so soon after your last post. Thinking of you and you family at this time.. she was blessed with a great husband to take care of her , and no pain. Condolences to all the family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our parents leave a huge hole in our lives.
2009, age 37 with a 2yo: CC, IIIB (T4N1M0). IBD history
2010-11: FOLFOX, 12 rounds. 5 surgeries (3-step Ileal j-pouch, infection, VATS)
Currently NED.
Mom, you can go the hard way if you want, but the easy way is much easier. ~my 3yo
