I can't believe I went for six months, but so glad I stuck it out, too. Next weeks side effects will be nothing but a bad memory. LOL

We're proud of you too, Holly.

And no, I'm not lying about the memory quickly fading. Too much joy bouncing around in your brain pan; no room for memories of misery.

Thanks, Eric. Actually, the six months went by rather quickly. But I really am glad it's going to be over soon. :) Looking forward to family coming for 4th of July and no fanny pack! LOL

Fletch, so glad you found her bracelet. I'm sure she was "over the top" with happiness because of the tender memories associated with it.

Enjoy the summer. It's not quite summer or even spring here. Froze last night. Snowed 8 miles away the night before. I'm so ready for some warm weather. :)

Love to you both!! Happy Birthday to Kelly!!

Congrats! It really helps me to see others with Stage 4 getting positive results and moving past some pretty nasty milestones. I just had my right hepectomy and I'll be starting adjuvant chemo for about 3 months. Hopefully I'll be doing the happy dance too then. Kind of feels good right now just to have the surgery over and seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Anyway, you have been a big inspiration and I'm really happy for you :D

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.. well done..
I think it was about week 4 or 5 after my dad finished folfox that his tastebuds suddenly returned to normal.. he was eating an icecream he was so excited like a child.. it only took that long for most things to return back to normal( month or so).. blood levels, nice color in his face, good weight gain, etc..so...
