Girl Scout Cookies

Postby Magnolia » Fri Dec 22, 2006 10:06 am

I got my Girl Scout Cookie forms last night. I was just finishing sales last year when I got my diagnosis. I called cookie sales "my other worst nightmare". It really puts things in perspective, though. Selling cookies doesn't seem so bad any more, and it's been nine months since surgery. Wow! I joke about not knowing which is worse, but all joking aside, I'll sell a lifetime of cookies and complain bitterly every year ( secretly rejoicing) if that's what normal life is about. I really hate selling Girl Scout Cookies. I really do.

Little reminders for the rest of your life, I know how that goes, use it to remind yourself what you need to do. I was diagnosed on 12/29/04 and now the holidays have an additional meaning,
when they are over I get scoped. What a fun gift. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and lots of cookie reminders for many years.
