Thanks for all the prayers and good vibes.

Surgery was late Fri night, Sat was painful but when I called they were just ramping up her pain meds. No report on exact staging etc. Just happy she is through the surgery.

Cheers

I will pray for the easiest possible recovery. I am still recovering from my hemicolectomy, so the struggle is still fresh in my mind.
rt. hemicolectomy April 3, 2009, dx. with Stage I colon cancer 3 days later. Clear margins, well-differentiated. This is my 3rd malignancy, and I am currently testing to see if I have a genetic mutation called Li-Fraumeni Syndrome.

I've passed along everyone's best wishes for which we are all very thankful. Auntie was up for a short walk the first day, had a small bit of soup / water and has the pain under control and continues to want to get around a bit.

So all is moving along well as we enter day 3 !

Cheers
