Hey John-

First of all, hang in there. I know it can be tough spending so much time in the hospital. Mess with the docs and nurses a litle bit to amuse yourself. :)

To answer your question about who to believe...you beleive the person who can prove it to you. Have you had a colonoscopy? have you had surgery? Are you just being "observed?" If they haven't looked, they can't tell you for sure what's going on, so if you haven't gotten a colonoscopy yet, that's what you should be pushing for.

Good luck...and keep smiling!

Hospital

Molly,

To shed a little light on my condition..I came in the hospital last monday to have 2 things done first off (before I can have a colonscopy i have to be off Warafen "bloodthinner" INR has to less than 1)..and number 2 to have a colonscopy performed I must be off the warafen it can take up to 5 to 6 days to get it out of my system...

Now to explain a little deeper about 4 weeks ago I had a seiscolonscopy (Im NOT the best speller!!) I had that done on a Outpatiant basis and during that procedure my Gastro Doc. found 2 polyps and assumed I had IBS with the possibly of Colon Cancer BUT he said after removing the polyps he would know more BUT he suggested that I get ready to assume it was cancer...

But he wanted to do a FULL Colonscopy exam. which meant all this time in the Hospital (bloodthinner issue) now after talking to my Primary Doc I was convinced that my problem was ONLY hemmroids and he told me to not worry BUT just take the supositores and it will go away...

So here I sit in the Hospital wondering which one is right or are they both wrong.....So as of right now Im scheduled for my colonscopy on this Monday 10am... until then I think Ill take your advise and keep smiling .......

So I have come to the conclusion that we all have to look at life a day at a time and take each day with a big smile ...

Thanks for the reply Molly this site is a blessing for all those who need support and a prayer...

Thank You...

J

Im glad my Laptop works in the Hospital!!!!!!!
