I'vde been having somed equiiibrium problems lastely so we decided on an an MRI of The Head for Sunday afternoon.
Yhe MRI showed a large tumor near the cerebellum and it needs to come out. it is scheduled for Wednesday but i haven't yet met with theeurosurgron. We'll see!
60 yrs old
Polyp dx 7/03
sigmoid colectomy 8/03
Cancer free 2/04
Stage IV dx 5/07, mets in Liver, lungs, lymph nodes & bones
Started Folfax6 5/07
Added Avastin and Zometa 8/07
32 Rounds of FOLFAX6 as of 8/7/08
Started Irinotecan & Erbitux 8/21/08

3/14 lymph nodes cancerous. Diverticulitus.
Surgery for left colectomy Apr 4th 07(opened up braline to bikiniline)
Chemo,Folfox May 07, 5 sessions severe reaction to Oxalyplatin so changed to Xeloda, Finished end Nov 07.

Diagnosed with stage III rectal tumor (though probably late stage II) January 2006.
Chemo/Radiation
Full APR Surgery
Folfox Chemo
So far NED.
Oops. Liver tumor diagnosed 10/13 after elevated CEA. Liver resection for 5cm tumor 12/6/13. So far so good.
Oops again, one tumor in each lung diagnosed 8/8/16. One too small to deal with and the other resected in late September. Wait and watch for now.
Oops, another lung Met in upper left lobe on edge of previous resection scar 11/11/19.

Surgery Dec 16th 08
in hosp 16th to 23,
28th to 1st of Jan for blockage
port put in Jan 12th
Chemo started Jan 09-
ended July 09
Hospital for a wk in April for bleeding.
As of Aug 09 am NED! Thank GOD!

I have to say that the sucknitude of the news on this site lately just doesn't seem to quit.

OK. One more hurdle. You can do it, Tiger. CHARGE!!!!!!

On the bright side, Folfiri means you won't have to worry about a bald patch from the surgery!
