FREE San Francisco Bay Area Patient/Caregiver Seminar

Postby Hannah » Tue Oct 24, 2006 9:13 pm

See below for the first of the Colon Cancer Alliance's "mini conferences" in 10 cities all over the country. The first one is in San Francisco on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4. I went to the 2-day conference in Chicago and it was (as always) great. I highly recommend this!

Dear friends,

Some of you were able to come to CCA's Annual 2-Day Conference in Chicago this past September. We are kicking off a 10-city tour of a 1-day condensed version of this Conference in San Francisco Bay Area. These seminars are free.

Conversations about Colorectal Cancer: Finding HOPE (Healing. Options. Peer Support. Education.) in your Community presented by the Colon Cancer Alliance are one-day seminars intended for colorectal cancer survivors and caregivers. These seminars will offer information about the latest treatment advances and give attendees the opportunity to listen to and support one another in their fight against colorectal cancer.

The first of these 10 seminars will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California. To register for this free seminar, please call 925-947-4447 or complete an online registration form at www.ccalliance.org/events/current/semin ... cisco.html.

Additional cities include: Orlando, FL; Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; Tampa, FL; New York, NY; Columbus, OH; Durham, NC; Washington, DC; Denver, CO. For more information about these seminars, visit
