NCI Invites Public Comment on Translational Research

Postby Molly » Wed Oct 18, 2006 8:10 am

The Translational Research Working Group (TRWG), a 63-person panel established in 2005 was charged to evaluate the current status of the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) investments in translational research and chart a vision for its future. We are once again seeking public input to improve translational research at the NCI. We welcome you to submit your thoughts and suggestions on the proposed initiatives and/or their associated implementation concepts.

To comment, visit the TRWG web site at http://www.cancer.gov/trwg/. The website will be closed for feedback on November 3, 2006 so please provide your input TODAY. Input gathered during this period will be considered as we develop the final presentation to the National Cancer Advisory Board in early 2007.

Your input is important so please go to the TRWG web site and share your perspective. Encourage others to provide us with input too by forwarding our web site address.

Thank you in advance for your insights,
