VECTIBIX APPROVED!

Today the FDA approved Vectibix for treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. Vectibix is the brand name for panitumumab and works against EGFR, the same growth factor that Erbitux works against.

This sounds VERY promising AND has a quick commercial launch date of Early to Mid-October. Sounds like they were expecting approval and are ready to role out a fast launch. At least it gives us something else in our arsenal of drugs. Thanks again for the heads up.
