Congratulations on your successful treatment! That is great news. My friend also has stage IV with mets to liver and lung. Can you please tell me:
how extensive your cancer was (Mark has many lesions)
what sort of chemo treatments you had (the type and duration)
the recovery time for the surgery, and
where you are located?
I am in Los Angeles looking for other options for him. A trial (Xeloda, Oxaliplatin, Avastin) he was on was discontinued last week because the disease began progressing. Now he is being encouraged to go on another trial (unknown drug at this point - no stats) or an Erbitux/Irinotecan combo. Your input would really help. Thanks!
