Maryland GI oncologist

Hi
I am lookong for a good GI oncologist in Maryland who is good with liver mets. Any recommendations please?

3/18 stage 4a, T3, N0, 3 liver Mets
3/18-7/18 6 chemo-folfox and avastin, radiation of colon
6/18 MRI- liver mets disappeared
7/18 rectal resection. No liver resection
10/18 adjuvent chemo, folfox
7/19 2 liver mets
8/19 liver resect, HAI pump, ileostomy reversal
9/19 bile duct surgery, fistula, new colostomy
9/9-12/19 adjuvent chemo FUDR
9/20 2 liver mets
9/20-11/20 FUDR & irenotecan
12/20 ablation of 2 liver mets
9/21 same 2 liver mets back
9/21-11/21 FUDR & irenotecan
12/21 SBRT

I have heard good things about Dr. John Marshall.

IVC 75g 1 1/2 wks before surgery. Continue 2x a week

Thank you. His theory of maintenance chemo didn't work for me. I am trying to get a different opinion. Also last I heard, he is on a sabbatical.

He's been on sabbatical for a while!
There is another one who did some studies with him. I'll dig later for his name.
Also, you might could work with one that would be a good fit for you long distance. My current onc is long distance and so far it works great.

Have you looked into the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins?
D/H Dx 10/2019 RC age 61
Clinical T4bN2M1a (common iliac and para-aortic lymph nodes)
MSS KRAS G12D
CRT 11/19-1/20 FOLFOX 3/20-7/20
Pelvic exenteration w/LAR 8/20
ypT4bN0Mx G3 0/14 nodes LVI not seen PNI-
CEA 10/19:20, 1/20-11/20:1.6, 4.3, 3.4, 2.7, 2/21:9.0 3/21:18,40 4/21:28,19, 5/21:13.3,8.6
PET 3/21 recurrence in distal nodes, L5 vertebra, pelvis

We have not been there so I don't know a specific individual, but they are one of the top-ranked cancer centers in the country so I would guess that just about anybody there would be good.
