Moving to every 6 months, port removal

Postby AmyG » Mon Mar 08, 2021 11:55 am

Omg yall.

Just left the oncologist. He's waiting on the report from the radiologist but on the assumption there wasn't anything he missed when he looked at it, I'm going every six months instead of 3! AND he said we could take out my port too!

This feels like such a step in the right direction.

Hope yall are all doing well. Nicholas turns 2 next week. It seems like just the other day I found out I was pregnant and had cancer. We weren't sure if I would be here for his birth, much less his second birthday!!

This is a good day.

Wow, that’s amazing. It feels like you just got the diagnosis; to be talking port removal at this point must feel fantastic! Congrats!!

I’m putting you into my “proof list” as I anticipate scans in the next few weeks!!

Congrats. It is such a big day when that thing comes out!
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 12 years NED). Is this real life?
