CT Scan moved up due to high CEA 08/21/17

Clear colonoscopy 09/23/19
Clear 5 year scans 11/21/19- Considered cured! :)

Congratulations! I’m checking in, and finding all this wonderful news. Yours was one of the first stories I kept track of, and I’m so happy to read this news.

9/16 MSS. MRI: 2 lvr mets: 2.7 & 7mm
9/30 Start FOLFOX 1-6
10/4 Lg lvr met ~3.7cm, pri tmr stable.
CEA: 10/13,12.5;10/27-12/8 btw 4.7 & 3.1
11/5 both lvr mets ~ 2/3 smaller.
12/17 PET: significant improv.

MWA 2/5, Lap resection 2/11
CEA: 3/1-5/31 btw 2.1&2.9
3/2 start FOLFOX 7-12

What wonderful news! There are no words to express how happy I am for you! We are just beginning our journey, 2nd chemo. I hope my wife will experience your joy in the future!
Caregiver to 61yoa wife, Stage 4 adenocarcinoma
Diagnosed Feb 2021. Mets Liver and Lungs CEA:1298
Needle Biopsy diffusely and strongly positive for CK20 and CDX2, and focally positive for CK7.
Chemo Folfox March 2021.
Vitamin C IV 50g and 45 min hyperbaric 02 weekly
Supplementation and modified Keto - low carb diet
Reaction to Oxaliplatin on 5th treatment.
Chemo FolFiri May 2021, 6th treatment
May 2021 Scan showed reduction to tumors, some lung tumors disappeared.
5/7/21 CEA: 439.7
8/7/21 CEA: 81.5

Well. I still have my port.

IN A JAR!!!!!

The nurse asked me today if I wanted to keep it. Heck yeah I do. It was super easy, the nurse marveled at my journey. I told her I didn't do anything remarkable, just showed up for chemo and resection!

Came home and made a delicious roasted tomatillo salsa.

Now I'm playing taxi for after school activities. Living the dream. :lol:

Liver biopsy is malignant, stage iv now boys!

NED!! CEA 2.3
CEA 5.8 idk wtf is up with that, but everything else is clear!
CEA 3.7 make up your damn mind...

Thank you, this made me smile. Nausea is fading from the first chemo and roasted tomatillo salsa sounds heavenly :D
I hope some day to be in the same spot.
52M DX: RC lower rectum, guessing now 2cm from AV 4/27/2021
T3N0M0 adenocarcinoma with signet ring cell features
Tumor size 30mm
Tumor grade: G3
Baseline CEA 1.0
MSI status: MSS pMMR
Started Folfox 5/12/2021
Switched to FOLFIRINOX from session 2. 8 rounds total.
CT+MRI tumor contained shrunk 80%, no spread to other organs.
CRT started xeloda + 28 days Radiation 9/27-11/04
NED as of 4/06 CT/MRI/sigmoidoscopy
On W&W 04/06/2022
