I usually post for my annual cancerversary, so here is this year's post. It's been 9 years since that fateful day (12/1/11). I remember the flurry of activity for testing, staging, scans, and treatment in late 2011 and most of 2012. I was well aware of the long term survival statistics at the time, and prayed that I would be one of the few fortunate ones. I guess still being here 9 years later and NED is testament that the prayers were answered. My life has been more or less "normal" for the last 8 years and I think less and less about the journey as time goes by, but it will always be a part of me. Hopefully my story gives hope to someone out there.
Blessings,
Dave
