Please help.

Postby gigglepress » Wed Nov 18, 2020 11:06 pm

My husband had his 18 month scan today. His liver and lungs looked good but the dr said he has 3 lymph nodes in his upper abdomen that have been steadily growing. She told us it might or might not be from the cancer spreading there. We'll have to come back in 3 months for a MRI to see if there has been more growth. Has anyone else had a similar situation and what was the treatment if so? I'm having a hard time finding any info online and I'm so scared right now.

On this board there is a group of patients who call themselves "Olymphians" or "Olympians". They are the ones with involvement only in the remote lymph nodes.

You can read about them and their treatment plans in some of the posts here:

I wouldn’t wait. Strongly suggest getting a second opinion or try to insist further investigation ASAP.
