Support Group

Postby Lmanners31 » Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:45 am

There are no support groups in my area. With COVID I figured many have moved to zoom meetings And therefore can be attended from anywhere in the world. I’d love to join a group for those that are cancer survivors. I’m only 1 year NED but feel this has been one of the hardest parts of cancer.Any recommendations with days/times/links? Thank you!

At the top of the forum topics there are several that are pined to the top. One is titled:

SUPPORT GROUPS - Local Nationwide Please List Yours!
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=31958

You might want to take a look at that and see if there are groups or links to online groups you can perhaps contact to see if they are doing ZOOM meetngs! I know several such support groups do such things. Its worth a try and see.

Good luck

Might be useful to know the time zone? There are 24 Noons around the world :D Can't tell which time zone you or Lmanners31 are in or if in the same. This is a good start.

Good luck!

Good point. The noon support group mentioned above is in Georgia (Eastern Standard Time).

Here's another possibility. It's in California (Pacific Standard Time):

Also, for those who might be interested in Zoom groups for Grief Therapy, there are several possibilities:
