So sorry to hear this Nicole.

My father was a young doctor, still completing his training as traumatologist, he was 26. He had two little kids ages 1.5 (my sister) and 2.5 (myself)

One day he felt some pressure in his chest, he had some checks done, nothing showed up. The next day he suffered a heart attack and passed on, nothing could be done to help him.

I guess I am trying to say we are all on borrowed time. All we have is a lifetime, it may be shorter or longer, nobody really knows.

I hope you far outlive those three months, and I hope you enjoy good times with your son.

Best wishes and hugs.

It hurts my heart to read this update and I feel inadequate with words for what you are going through. I hope you can get a small bit of comfort knowing many people across the world including myself, though we’ve never met you, are touched by your story and are thinking of and praying for you and your son.

My heart is breaking for you and your family. I am so sorry for your little one.

We as a society are so removed from death and have had it so sanitized in our modern world that it makes coming to terms with it harder for everyone involved. Even speaking of death or impending death makes people so uncomfortable that they can’t begin to even think about it - let alone talk about it.

The idea left earlier about cards and videos left with someone for your son is tremendous, although it would be incredibly hard to do.

Wishing you peace and love

So very sorry for your situation. Others have suggested writing cards or letters to your child and I highly recommend you do this. Writing him will be something you can do for him now and will be so meaningful to him as he grows up. God bless you and your family.
