My beautiful father is now my angel

Postby Apple1291 » Fri Jul 17, 2020 5:45 pm

My beloved dad passed on Tuesday in the hospital with my mother by his side. Today we buried him surrounded by the people who loved him the most. I just want to thank everyone here for the support over the years. This place has been a source of comfort for me and an incredible resource for my dad. Although he never joined the club I found so many useful tips and encouraging stories for him here. My mother says that she is so grateful for everyone here who was willing to share their journeys so that we could support my dad. My dad was 66 when he passed. He was strong. He lived through so many treatments and procedures and lived for more than 4 years after his diagnosis of peritoneal carcinomatosis. He leaves my mom, his wife of 46 years, my brother and I, my husband and my 2 children behind but we are so grateful for all of the beautiful memories. Thank you Colon Clubbers for everything.
