Your lucky that your Colostomy worked like that. Mine does what you are describing where it will periodically go all day, and I just snap off bag clean it and snap it back on. Sometimes I do get the nice go once for the day, but that is very rare. It sound normal to me lol...Sorry I couldn't be of much more help. I do enjoy eating normally. Nothing crazy.
It is not to bad however, I just push the stool down to the bottom of bag if I don't feel like getting up to snap bag off and clean. Especially if I am busy or out at a client doing work. I use Lubricant as well, but it doesn't work super well. I just ordered a stealth belt and I hoping this annoyance of pushing stool down is still a possibility with the belt on.

Lots of chemo for the past 4 years.
