LVI positive/neg
Hi everyone, Question: Is LVI always present if you have lymph node involvement? Why or why not?

Hello!
My pathology (I did 4 rounds of FOLFOX and 6 weeks of chemo/radiation prior to surgery) was LVI negative but I had some viable cells in 1 node. I am not sure if it was negative because of prior treatment or if it was always negative. But I did have lymph node involvement. I’m sorry if that doesn’t really answer your question.

I had LVI with no lymph node involvement. Stage 2A T3N0M0. LVI is considered a high risk of recurrence, but it is subjective. I have been cancer free for almost 4 years.
