My dad

Postby Apple1291 » Fri Jun 19, 2020 2:37 pm

I haven’t posted in a very long time but I felt like I could share this with you guys and you would understand. After 9 years of living with cancer my dad is dying. Things have been rough since about February. We just celebrated his 66th birthday a few weeks ago and although I wish he could stick around for another 20 or 30 years he’s just really tired now. I haven’t been able to talk to anyone besides what I’m sharing with you all right now. It’s all devastatingly sad and painful but I’m holding it together for my two daughters who are going to be feeling an immense loss as well. My husband is supportive but I just felt like reaching out here. I hope that’s ok.

I’m so sorry that you are going through this. It is so hard. I lost my own father to colon cancer, but strangely, I still feel like he is so close to me. I’m praying for your dear family. May you all be granted grace and perfect peace throughout this next transformation.
