Hello, and welcome to Colon Talk.
The symptoms you describe are part of what is called LARS - Low Anterior Resection Syndrome.
You may be able to find some suggestions on how to handle these problems by consulting the "
Living with LARS" website, which has a lot of information in this area:
LARS website - Low Anterior Resection Syndromehttps://coloncancersupport.colonclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62507&p=498376#p498376Some people have been helped by going through the list of "Strategies" suggested on that website, and by trying one strategy after another until they find something that works for them.
In the area of LARS, there is no single solution that works for everybody. Usually we have to try different possibilities until we find something that works.
Some people on this Forum may have suggestions on which strategies to try first, and which ones to try later on. Maybe someone here will chime in with suggestions.
