A question on a scan.

Postby Butt » Tue Apr 14, 2020 6:29 pm

I have mets in lungs and a few chest lymph nodes. I am on Folfox and Avastin. It is a recycled version. The doc said the scan was good my suddenly a lymph node in my abdominal cavity appeared 1.2 on 2.6 mm. He wants to postpone a but PET. It was Cat and avoid biopsy. He strongly thinks it is cancer. Any similar experiences? Butt.

Hope they can add a good treatment plan to knock that back down .

I know some people here have had surgery or radiotherapy on some lymph nodes depending on what chain of lymph nodes is affected . I always started with finding current research articles to see what some Doctors are achieving . If you knew the location of the lymph nodes some others might have had experience with them .

Particularly if the other areas are responding .

I think Claudine’s husband managed an isolated lymph node for a long time and ended up with a surgical outcome .
