Whether to surgery or stick with 3 more cycles of xeloda along.

Hi All,
Yesterday we got appointment with doctor after 3 cycle of chemo 1 and half with oxilipatin and xeloda, 1 and half with xeloda along.
CT scan showed slightly increase in nodule left lung from 5X5 mm (on sep 26) to 7X6 mm(yesterday scan). Doctor want to stick with same xeloda along for 3 more cycles and do the surgery. But he also told that we can do surgery if we want, do you any one face this condition, do you have any suggestion with your experiences whether to continue xeloda for 3 more cycles or do surgery?

My tumor was in a different location, but also grew slightly prior to my surgery date. The surgery was cancelled as the surgeon said that operating on an actively growing tumor increases the chances of recurrence. Not sure how it all works, but it can be a good idea to be safe and do as much chemo as you can tolerate as you want surgery to be a one shot deal as your body will form scar tissue after each surgery and those come with their own complications.
