The Colon Club

So, had a CT on Wednesday and the results posted to mychart today. Last one was in September and I had an enlarged lymph node in my armpit. That's decreased in size, they didn't even measure it. Everything else is as it should be.

So, clean colonoscopy this summer, clear CT and last chemo tomorrow. After that I goi in to surveillance mode!

Change in plans, bloodwork didn't cooperate so I'll ring the bell NEXT Monday. I'm okay with it. CEA rose a little, was 5.8 up from 2.3. I'm not sweating it though since everything else is clear!

Great scan news . Time to celebrate.

I’m an old timer and don’t post much anymore but I do pop in here from time to time.

Great news about your scan and I hope your slightly raised CEA is nothing to worry about. The times I worried about my raised CEA only to have it go back down with the next test Are you getting it checked again soon?

Hope your last chemo goes well next Monday.

Next check should be in 3 months.

Unfortunately, I'm losing my oncologist. For some undisclosed reason, she's leaning UAMS. I credit her for getting me to NED status and hopefully my next doctor will be just as good.

Hopefully, it will be back to where it was at your next test.

Oh no, your oncologist is leaving They get to know us and know our history, and we get to know them and put our trust in them when we are most vulnerable. Hoping that you are happy with your new onc and that they will look after you just as well. I’m sure they will and it will work out to be just fine.
