He has been losing a lot of weight, his appetite after surgery hasn't been at 100% but 4 weeks after surgery he is eating pretty well considering. He just took a hot bath, low level water to not submerge those incisions to soothe an achy butt/ back. When he got up he says he felt the pump shift/ move snd it did feel a little tight by the cut for the pump in comparison to his other side. Is this normal? We head down to the doctor tomorrow for a check up and chemo flush for saline.
I guess any little tid buts of random info on these pumps would help ease his snd my mind. I just don't want him to worry.

BEFORE surgery he would walk on the treadmill (during crappy weather) at 1-2 mph
AFTER surgery he pushed himself up to 4-5 mph

Whoa! That's a big change! Tell him he needs to go sloooow. His body has been through a lot and it needs time to heal.
It's good he is so motivated, but take it easy. And tell him to take those antibiotics until they are all gone, not to stop if he starts feeling better!

omg....sounds just like my husband... only he has to fall again and again and again before he gets it. Exasperating.
Mohrfamily wrote:Luckily the fluid came back as.... fluid. No bacteria just regular old fluid so good news. They're still having trouble finding the owning to the pump for access because he's still tender and still a little swollen I can't wait for that to be fully healed and maybe that will go smoother
