I’d take that as a positive sign too.

Mine just released me back to my family doctor about 6 weeks ago.

Supposed to have a colonoscopy around March and next CT in September.

5 years is a big milestone, congratulations.

Thank you CF_69! :) I was released back to my family doctor back in 2015. I hope you get a clear colonoscopy and a clear CT!*hugs*

I've just read 'considered cured!' Excellent news. Hugs from New Zealand.

Congrats girl, that's awesome news :) !

My husband is having his first post treatment CT scan on Friday! It's pretty scary but I'm super happy when I read positive stories like yours!

Hi. How did you get on? Or if I missed your news, my apologies. Haven't been here for a while. Dealing with prostate cancer now so more waiting.

Hi Bruxton,

I have CEA tested every 6 months. I'm due to be tested in August. I'm uncertain how that will play out with covid-19. I'm so very sorry you're dealing with prostate cancer!*hugs* I hope your treatment is going well!*hugs*

Hi. Yes, I had radiotherapy and now have the stress of PSA tests every 3 or 6 months. I chose 6 months! It dropped a lot the first time but the next two showed small drops which I found disappointing. But Dr seems happy so I suppose I should be too. Thanks for your sympathy, the PC took over from bc just as the 5 year mark was nearing. Ironically, my final bc appt was on the same day of a radiotherapy session. Saved a trip to hospital I suppose, just a short walk from one clinic to the next. On the positive side, the CV 19 level has dropped by one and we are allowed much more freedom. New cases numbers have been very low, including some days of none. (New Zealand.) Best wishes.

I'm glad there have been drops. :) The downward trend is what is important. I wish you all the best as well!

Wow! December already. And I'll be 75 on Sunday 6th. Depressing. Just browsing this site so an update on the prostate cancer. (Wrong site. Never mind.) The Sept PSA was good - 1.5 which is a reassuring drop from 2.7. Next one in March. All the best. Stay safe and well.

Thank you Koreysue, but my 5 year scans and 5 year colonoscopy in 2019 were both clear. :)
