I lost my beloved husband of 21 years this June. You were all here with me at the start, whether you realize it or not. Thank you for your support and friendship.
My Joe was a big Dr. Who fan, so I have his ashes in a ceramic Tardis. Sure, it was supposed to be a cookie jar, but it works and the cookie facet is appropriate as well.
He was on two clinical trails in the last six months of his life and when I get the energy, I will post some details. I think he had a lot of experience that will benefit others in the future and I know he would want to help in any way he could.
For those of you still fighting and care-giving, I know you're exhausted. You are in my thoughts/prayers. Please keep me in yours.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have tears as I type. I hate this disease but am thankful for all the brave souls like your husband who are willing to do these trials to learn more on how to fight this.

Sorry for you loss. I like the Dr Who tribute in the Tardis cookie jar! I've still not found an appropriate container for my wife's ashes yet. They are still in the plastic box I received them in. You rock! I am sure he is pleased. I would be interested in hearing about the trials. Although I have lost my wife to colon cancer too, I still try and participate here as well!
