update on my dad and advise?

Hi,

5FU monotherapy didn't work for my dad. Cancers have spread all over his lung, lymph nodes and one on liver. The oncologist will give my dad a regimen of 5FU, avastin and oxaliplatin at 70% for all 3. After 3 months, remove oxaliplatin and stay with 5FU and avastin. So 3 months with 3 chemo follow by 3 months of 2 chemo and repeat.

Any advise on what to look for to see if it works? Or anyone try this 3 combinations?

I hope everyone is doing well !!

Thanks,
Nate.

I'm so sorry that monotherapy did not work for your dad. I do not have any experience with the regimen prescribed, but at least there's a plan of action! Hopefully the combination of drugs will be more successful, and not too hard on him. Best of luck XXX
