Hi Suniva,

I sort of had treatments at Mayo in Rochester. They did my radiation and surgeries and guided my chemo which I had done locally. I am currently in surveillance and that is also being done at Mayo. I think Punky44's mom is doing the same thing but is still doing adjuvant chemo.

Anything I can help with?

I was treated there in 2011-12 with surgery and radiation, and they consulted with my local oncologist for my chemo regimen. I had an extremely positive experience there and highly recommend them. My results speak for themselves.
Dx 12/11 rectal stage IV w/ 6 mets to liver, age 35
4 cycles FOLFOX 12/11 to 2/12
short course radiation 2/12
rectal/liver resection 3/12, temp ileostomy
8 cycles FOLFOX/FOLFIRI 4/12 to 8/12
ileostomy reversal 10/12
port out 10/13
1/17: Added daughter to family!
12/19: Added son to family!
NED for 11+ years and counting!

Yep, my mom went there for her radiation treatment (because they offered proton beam therapy) and her surgery. She did neoadjuvant chemo locally but per their recommendation and then her current 6 month follow up CT scans are all done at Mayo under the care of their oncology team.

Mayo is A-mayo-zing. :)
