All done...hard to believe

Went to MSK yesterday for scheduled blood work, after what seemed an interminable wait, my doctor tells me that: "You're finished" No more scans, bloodwork. After almost ten years of this journey, I was left a bit stunned. Happy, but, as I told him, it felt like a divorce. I will NOT miss seen him or MSK, they saved my life. But, I hope I don't see the inside of a hospital for many, many more years! I'm very honored that I joined Colon Club soon after diagnosis, it's been a place to learn, grieve, sometimes argue, but also hope, lots of hope. I came on here, and like many others looked for stories of hope, success, victories and I found them, and that helped me keep going. To all of you still in the battle, hang in there, stay hopeful, surround yourself with caring people, if those aren't around often, get a furry friend, mine helped me through a lot.
