Folfox7 vs folfox6

For his first infusion, he got folfox7 at Mayo Clinic. Now he just went for his 2nd infusion locally and they gave him folfox6. From what I am reading it is just a small dosage difference between the ox (130 vs 100) and lv (400 vs 200) the 5fu is still 2400. He is going to ask why they gave him a different folfox today.

Does it make a huge difference? Should he be put back on the 7 for his 3rd infusion and then on ?

My oncologist had to switch my drugs around after my first infusion due to neutrophils getting too low. New mix (done for 3rd and 4th) seems to be OK for neutrophils and fortunately no too-harsh side effects ... yet.

Recommend getting your oncologist's logic for the change and see if you agree with it. Oncodoc may or may not listed to your thoughts but probably will.
