I have been thinking of you as well and following your posts. You are so right that there are so many amazing people who contribute to this board, sharing their knowledge and encouragement.
So far my treatments have been going well. I have had 2 rounds of FOLFOX, and am going for my third tomorrow. I sailed through the first round. The only side effect I had was a loss of appetite for the first 3 days, and really nothing else - no cold sensitivity, no nausea. Round 2 was a bit tougher - no appetite for 3 days, cold sensitivity in my fingers, feet, and mouth/throat, terrible headache which woke me up from my sleep on the night of day 1, nausea on the morning day 2 (took and anti-nausea pill and immediately threw up!), tingling in fingers and toes, and some weird hand spasms. I did go for a very challenging hike with my daughter on day 2, which was not as fun as it should have been, but I am glad I did it. All of the side effects subsided by about day 5, and right now I feel great, which is why I am not looking forward to tomorrow, but also glad that I will be one more treatment closer to the end.
