Bucket List

Postby Pyro » Fri Jun 28, 2019 6:43 am

Well folks, it’s time to start working on bucket list items. The vectibux has me looking like the walking dead and chemo is getting harder and harder o recover from so I’m throwing some caution to the wind. I was given a timeframe in months if I don’t do chemo, a year or two if I do. Obviously I’ve done 2 chemo treatments so far, but it sucks. If you see a middle age man running around between Manhattan Beach and Malibu in a red Ferrari 488 convertible worth more than my first house, wave, it’s me. Sorry to folks I may have shocked with my last comment, I’m usually doing fairly well with all of this but sometimes....

I will figure out how to post a pic of this, it’s been a lifelong dream, had the poster of exotic cars on my wall as a kid, now I’m going to live it.

I’m a little nervous about driving a $300K car around, but I used to fly a $40 million dollar plane around by myself, should be fun!

Were you air force or navy? I'm prior service myself, two of my kids have also decided to put on the uniform. I was a cop in the USAF, they are both sailors!

Nice! I hope you take the car all the way to SF and drive through Big Sur. You’ll enjoy those curves!

I just spent 11 days in the hospital and my oncologist also gave me the “months” prognosis because I may not be able to do more chemo with my bowel leak / fistula. It left me wondering though, is that 2 months or 12-18? Whatever, no one knows...

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this won’t be the only item you’ll cross off your list.

Had to Google that!

If you had a poster of exotic cars on your wall, then why stop at ONE? Check out leasing a car per week/month from a
sports, luxury, prestige and exotic car rental crowd.

What a weekend! Lunch at Dukes in Malibu, Arthur Js and Fishbar in Manhattan beach and a few speed limits broken. Most incredible car I’ve ever driven. A bit nerve racking driving around a $350,000 car, but worth it.

To answer a previous question, I was a US Air Force Lt Col and F-16 fighter pilot. I really don’t want to look like I’m bragging, just doing something I always wanted to.
