Here is a question that I know will take me an inordinate amount of time to find an answer to online, so I thought I would throw it out here to the group to see if anyone may have answers:
Does an MRI image of a cancerous lymph node, e.g. periportal or portocaval (aka portacaval), have the same characteristics of cancerous tumors in organs such as the liver?
In other words, since tumors in the liver and colon have distinct characteristics, e.g. rim enhancing with diffusion restriction, on MR imaging, should we also expect to find those same characteristics when a lymph node is a met?
