Rest in peace, Dr. Lynch.

A few months ago Dana-Farber opened the first center devoted to caring for Lynch Syndrome patients. Lynch is a many-headed hydra -- mutations in 5 genes (MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2, or EPCAM) and multiple mutations within each of the 5 genes -- so getting coordinated care for it is a very good idea!

It is always very sad when we lose pioneers in the medical fields.
They have dedicated themselves to helping many and while I do not have Lynch syndrome
I know a number of people who have benefited from being aware they had it,
and were able to take proactive measures.

RIP Dr. Lynch
