My bowel prep is Monday next week and the colonoscopy is scheduled for Tuesday morning. I'm her second appointment of the day. Crossing my fingers hard that everything looks great in there. I had a near blockage last time they went in to take a look, and they couldn't get past the sigmoid area.
Also, I forgot to mention: A couple of weeks ago I participated in the local 6k. Last year I had completed the 2018 6k just 2 weeks before going into the ER and being diagnosed with colon cancer. I had walked a lot of the way last time and I was mystified that I felt so terrible and wasn't running more. Well, that much makes a lot more sense in hindsight. Good news: I knocked 10 minutes off my time from last year! And that's despite only training once a week on average for the past few months. Completed the 6k in about 46 minutes this time, so my overall pace was very good for me. I didn't run the whole way, but I ran a lot, for longer, and felt good about my pace.
I am not a very dedicated runner but I'm so pleased to be making progress and getting better.
I don't tend to be very anxious, but I am nervous about this colonoscopy next week. I hope everything looks good.
(edited to correct my total time, whoops)
