Stage IV 8 year cancerversary today AND clean scan

On May 13, 2011 mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Today was her 8 year anniversary, and she had another clean scan. Great anniversary gift. This makes a bit over 3.5 years clean in her longest remission yet. She had remissions on and off but October 2015 we started having continuous clean scans and here we are in 2019. In May 2012 she also had stage 1 breast and that is fine. HOPE. Thinking of you all. She is kicking butt. Living the good life. Family trip to Hawaii in August coming up- bucket list.

November 2011.....It was a very tough journey as you know but WOW! Looking forward to seeing ya’al’ in September for honoring Dr Kemeny for all she’s done with her pump research! See you at the Walk/Festival!

Thanks for all the kind thoughts!
I can only hope at 72 I have as much energy as my mom. She spent the day yesterday and today cleaning up their property with my dad and my 13 year old son. She was dragging tree limbs. I get tired watching her- lol!
Looking forward to seeing Pete and you all in September!
